Meet Greta!

When you meet Greta and notice how perfect of a pup she is, you will never be able to understand how she ended up in a high kill shelter for 6 weeks with no end in sight. She gave birth to a single puppy (Gracie) at that shelter and PMAR just had to get this sweet family out of harm’s way. Greta was picked up as a stray with another dog (Radar, another PMAR pup) and it was soon discovered that she had a fractured leg and road rash…she showed us such great spirit overcoming so many obstacles and remaining such a sweet girl.
Greta is about 2 years old and a great size at 48 lbs. In addition to her magnificent eyebrow, she has mesmerizing eyes and she is covered in little freckles and large patches of brown. She is a delight to see and so very sweet. She loves all people she meet and has a quiet disposition—but don’t let that fool you. She will break out in zoomies and with her ability to jump—she will probably make a great Frisbee dog or agility dog.
Greta is housebroken and crate trained. She is good on a leash although still learning. Greta is good with other dogs and has been regularly attending doggie training with other dogs. No cats.
Greta is located in the Atlanta area. She is a GA adoption. Her adoption fee is $250.

About Pibbles & More ~~Georgia

About Our Rescue Group...

PIBBLES & More Animal Rescue is a foster-home based rescue based in Queens NY; we are their Georgia chapter. We are a 501 (c)(3) Non Profit Organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. This rescue effort is to help the Bullies of the world. This breed has gotten such a bad rap and they are totally misunderstood. We have a growing foster network in Metro Atlanta and the surrounding communities, in addition to our New York, Vermont, New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania networks.
Our dream is to turn life around for this beloved breed.
We am not out to only help the pitties of the world, we also rescue any breed that is in need.
Pitbulls are our passion and we will fight for the day where they are loved for the breed and not the deed...

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are a foster based group because dogs coming out of shelters or abusive situations need time to adjust to family life. We get to know our dogs, work with them on housetraining and house manners. We know who gets along with other dogs, with cats, who needs a fenced yard and who would do well in a city apartment. Once we have received an application, we arrange meet&greet appointments for you to meet your potential companion to make sure it's a good fit. We also attend many adoption events around the tri-state area - see the calendar on our website for upcoming events! We would love to meet you and introduce our dogs!

Our Adoption Process...

We at Pibbles & More rescue animals from many situations. May it be from a shelter, bad home, or an unwanted furbaby... Once the animal is in our rescue they get the best treatment, care, love & training we can supply... So we work hard at finding the RIGHT family & home for our rescued babies. There is an adoption application that will need to be filled out, along with a home visit, vet check, personal references & an adoption donation...
All our rescued animals are on flea/HW preventive, utd on shots and spayed or neutered... also all our animals are in foster care so this way we know the right home for each of our Furbabies. The adoption application is online at www.pmarinc.org

Our adoption fees are between $200 for adult dogs & up to 350 for puppies.
