Why hello there, which one of you lovely folks remember me? Noooo..don't shake your head..just because I look different doesn't mean you are allowed to forget about me. I am Callie, the lovely 3 year old Golden Retriever mix....Maybe this will ring a bell, I came into this rescue in September..I was actually one of the first dogs this rescue took in! I wasn't in good shape though, I had been wandering the streets of OKC for most of my life and came into rescue skin and bones and just about fur-less.(My old pics are at the end of this album) I would say I am a FAR cry from what I looked back then..wouldn't you agree??!!
I ended up getting adopted and went into an amazing home. I mean I had it made, the little girl would always tuck me in at night and cover me in a blanket and give me a stuffed animal. I was very bonded to my human mom as she took such good care of me. I mean look at me!! She spoiled me to the moon and back...maybe even a little too much judging by my weight ;) Sadly, her and my human dad are leaving each other and my mom has no where to go except to a house that will not allow dogs..no matter how much it kills her she had to let me go back to rescue so I can find a new home..a new family. While I am heartbroken to lose my home I know this rescue will help me find my perfect family..they did once and they will do it again!
I am a super sweet girl who is good with everyone and everything. I am good with other dogs, cats, and I love love love kids. I would love to go to a family with kiddos and where I will be spoiled rotten. I am used to going on jogs/walks with my owner and I know sit, shake, and down. I have a very soft creamy coat.
