If you are looking for an amazing boy who is the most affectionate, most loving, most cuddly little dog in the world with just the right amount of orneriness....then you have found what you are looking for in Chance! Don't let his 16-pound little self fool you, he has a BIG personality! Chance is looking for a forever home that will allow him as much lap time as possible, as that is where he prefers to be. He loves so much that he just wants to be by your side. He gets along great with all humans, big and small. He lives in a foster home with other dogs and loves playing with them, but he does require a good slow introduction period first. Crating and rotating for a little bit worked best at his foster home. His is reportedly good with cats, but this can be tested if needed. He knows and loves to preform his tricks: sit, up, dance, beg, roll over, and shake. Chance is a very quick learner! He will need to be kept on year round flea prevention due to his severe allergies to fleas. His skin was very infected, but with specialized vet monitored treatment his skin is completely healed and his coat is now beautiful. Remember that BIG personality? Well, his vocalizations will most likely not make him a good match for someone who lives in an apartment or townhome. If your home has a fence it will need to be very secure, as he likes to test to see if there are any small areas he can get through to go exploring. If you're interested in meeting Chance, please fill out an online non-binding application for him.
