Duke is currently living in a foster home in Delevan, Wisconsin.
Duke was surrendered with 3 other dogs (Sugar, Oreo and Baby) to a high kill shelter in Houston, TX. The reason given was that his family was moving into an apartment and were unable to take their dogs with them. Lola's Lucky Day pulled the whole family out of the shelter so that they could start a new and improved life in Wisconsin! Duke is wonderful! He is estimated to be 6 years old. He is currently 35-40 lbs and has the most amazing coat! Duke also has three legs. That doesn't hold him back at all! He loves to run and play! He has a great temperment and loves his siblings and other dogs! His foster has not seen him around cats or children. Duke appears to have already been house trained when he arrived in his foster home. He is also crate trained and good with cats too! Duke is neutered and up to date on his shots. He is a wonderful boy and can't wait to meet you!!
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please note that preference is given to adopters in
Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.
