My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sadie has just spent 12 weeks at the Grafton Correctional Institute in our Prison Dog Training Program. She is now a proud Prison Graduate. Sadie has been trained in basic commands and obedience, manners, proper leash walking and house training. She's back at Friendship and waiting for her forever home!

Sweet Sadie here! She's a 3 year old Feist mix that was adopted a few months ago and returned. Sadie was returned because she was too strong. She gets along with older dogs, but does not like younger, rambunctious dogs around her. Sadie's family said she is house trained, has excellent manners and knows her basic commands. She has not lived with young children or cats but is fine with older kids. Sadie is a great family pet and is hoping to get back into a loving home ASAP. ***Her photos were taken 12 weeks ago soon after she had a litter of puppies. She has dried up since then.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
