Walker's Story...
ST AUGUSTINE, FL - Walker was abandoned by his owners when they moved out 3 weeks ago. He is in a temporary foster and in need of a loving forever home. Walker, Mountin Cur Boxer mix male, 1 year (sparkly teeth and young, happy & waggy tail), 50ish lbs, neutered, will receive shots and microchip prior to adoption. He is housebroken, excellent with other dogs (gentleman who has him now has two dogs-one isn't happy with Walker, but Walker has been respectful), walks on a leash great! Rides beautifully in the car. Doesn't like the crate but will go in. Hasn't been around cats or kids that the Good Samaritan knows of. Walker is playful and happy; he doesn't try to chase squirrels etc. Transport can be arranged.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Walker, a West Palm Beach Mountain Cur/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mountain Cur/Boxer for sale in West Palm Beach, or seeking a Mountain Cur/Boxer dog from a breeder in West Palm Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Palm Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Palm Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mountain Cur/Boxer breeders who help with Mountain Cur/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Palm Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
