MAGGIE's Story...
Miss MAGGIE is looking for her forever family. She is a 4.5 month old small mixed breed. Currently she weighs less than 15 lbs. Maggie has been living with foster friends and is now ready for a family to call her own. She is house-trained, crate savvy-if she needs to be, and good in the car. Maggie absolutely loves playing...as all pups do...and had lots of dog friends at her foster house. Maggie doesn't want to admit it, but she is a bit afraid of cats. Once she knows what they are she could be a friend. Maggie warms up quickly to new people and freely gives out kisses. Spayed and up to date on her immunizations Maggie is ready to go to a new home. If you are interested in seeing if Maggie is a fit for your family, please fill out an adoption survey on our FB page under 'notes' and send to Rescue@idahodogs.org. Any questions about Maggie can also be directed to Rescue@idahodogs.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MAGGIE, a Meridian Mixed Breed (Small)/Miniature Pinscher puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mixed Breed (Small)/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Meridian, or seeking a Mixed Breed (Small)/Miniature Pinscher puppy from a breeder in Meridian.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Meridian already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Meridian breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mixed Breed (Small)/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Mixed Breed (Small)/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Meridian paves the way for another one to be saved.
