Max is our very special English Bulldog. He came to us from central California after a family was done breeding him. They basically discarded him. We love this sweet, squishy guy. We noticed him walking a little funny and after xrays we have found that he has some hip dysplasia and some lower lumbar degenerative changes. Basically he just needs a house to call his own for the remainder of his dog years. He self limits on his walking around. We think sometimes his hips are a little uncomfortable and he will just sit down and rest. He is not a dog that will need to be taken on walks, he is fine walking around the house but long walks, dog parks, dog beaches etc. are not in his future. Max will win you over with his personality. He is a dream dog and a super lovable guy. He rolls on his back for tummy rubs and will paw at you to keep up the rubbing when you stop. He thinks hes a lap dog and tries to climb up in your lap to lay across you so you can love on him. We just adore this guy. His right eye might need some lubricating drops in it for comfort after his cherry eye was repaired.
