My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peanut Butter is 4 years old and weighs 16 pounds. She was adopted from the pound by a Poochmatch adopter and she was the companion for Brownie (Lab/Dutch Shep. Mix), who was adopted through us as a puppy, 3 years ago, although it is not absolutely necessary we would prefer to place the two as a pair. Her owner has had a medical procedure that limits his mobility and he must move into a place where he cannot have pets. Peanut Butter has an active personality. She likes playing fetch, going for walks and runs. She is crate-trained, leash-trained and house-trained and does well with cats. Her owner taught her several commands: sit, lay, stay.

If you are interested in meeting any Poochmatch dog at our weekly adoption event on Saturdays at the Petsmart in Yorba Linda, CA (5521 Mirage St.) between 1-5 PM, please fill out an application from our website, poochmatch.com, and return it via email to poochmatch@hotmail.com no later than 11 AM on Fridays. Upon receipt AND approval, the dog you are interested in meeting will be made available to meet on a Saturday. Due to the high volume of dogs and puppies in our foster homes, it is impossible to bring them all every Saturday. The only way to ensure that the dog that you are interested in will be at the adoption event is to FILL OUT AN APPLICATION AND BE APPROVED. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that the dog you are interested in will be at our adoption event. If you cannot make the time frame of our events, appointments can be made at another time and location solely at the discretion of the foster parent. Please understand that private appointments will be coordinated to meet the convenience of the foster parent/transporter. We cannot hold dogs, please submit your application when you are ready to adopt.

All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, core vaccinations (rabies and 2 sets of distemper/parvo), fecal testing and deworming. Adoption fees vary solely based on age and size.
