Serena's Story...
****Adoption Pending****

SERENA - Female, Terrier mix, 2 yrs, 9 lbs.

This poor girl came from the shelter severely underweight. Her poor nutrition caused her fur to fall out in spots and wreaked havoc with her skin, leaving it flaky. Now her coal black fur is coming back in beautifully except for the silver streak on her forehead. She likes to sit in your lap anytime she can and sleep under the covers at night. She is a feisty little girl and will bark at other dogs if they upset her. But then she will climb back into the nearest lap. She has a corneal scar on one eye, but it doesn't seem to bother her. She is a doll and will make some lucky family very happy.

***Woof.. Please know that the rescue has posted all the information that they have on me here. As my foster family gets to know me they will post updates, so please check back! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Serena, a St. Catharines Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in St. Catharines, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in St. Catharines.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Catharines already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Catharines breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Catharines paves the way for another one to be saved.
