Smudge is an 8 year old cat that is waiting patiently for a new home here at our Humane Society. He was adopted from our shelter as a kitten back in 2008, but his adopter could no longer keep him so he brought him back to be placed up for adoption.

Smudge is an indoor, independent type cat that likes to chase toys, roll around in catnip and get a bit feisty like a kitten when he plays. Smudge enjoys afternoon naps in comfy cat beds or chairs and would be a good companion for someone looking for a mature cat that does not require too much attention. He sometimes likes to chase and boss the other shelter cats and dogs around, so we know he wants to be the "king" of his domain and would be happiest as an only pet. Smudge wants to be around adult people only - young children stress him out.
