Finley's Story...
Meet Finley (left in the photo) !

We welcome this darling little dude into the MMR pack yesterday morning (along with his brother, Dodger). Both pups had been scooped up off the streets by a good Samaritan and taken to an east bay shelter.

Finley is an all around sweet boy. Although a bit shy initially he comes right around with toys and very little encouragement. His favorite activities include roughhousing with his brother, chewing his bully sticks & snuggling in his foster mamas lap. Finley’s ideal home would have working breed experience & open to lots of play time!

Finleys exact age & mix are unknown but we feel he’s right around 8 weeks and may be a cattle dog blend. You can apply to adopt this sweet boy or learn more about him by heading to our adopt tab and sending over the form to adopt!

PS – We’re working on better photos, stay tuned!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Finley, a South San Francisco Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog for sale in South San Francisco, or seeking a Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in South San Francisco.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South San Francisco already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South San Francisco breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog breeders who help with Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South San Francisco paves the way for another one to be saved.
