My name is Owen.
Sadly I have been moved around a lot the last little while and now I am with CAA Rescue I am hoping that they can help me to find my true forever home.
I am pretty cheerful and happy these days with my foster dad. I am living out in the woods with other large breed dogs and get along just fine. I was with some smaller dogs before and some I like and some I don’t like. Not sure what it is about those tiny dudes but I prefer to be with dogs my size or even by myself.
I would say I am a pretty smart guy, not too hard head and like to please my foster daddy.
I am clean in the home and enjoy my walks very much
I could use continued positive reinforcement training for other basic commands
I would really like some Cocker people to consider me for adoption and come out to meet me. I think that other people think I am very pretty but not being knowledge about my breed and typical traits I end up not being the right fit for them.
I am an independent guy and do really well with order, structure and routines. I was crate trained in previous home but now with my foster dad I am not so I am good in and out of the crate
I love to run and play especially with my ball. I do really well when I have daily mental and physical activity
I am WAY too vocal for apartment life and can decide that things like the comfy couch are mine with inexperienced people who allow me to get away with bad behavior so best no children in the home full time.
I have lived with cats in my previous life but currently there are none in foster care with me
I am not a run away and take off type of dog, I like to stick with my family, with my pack.
I am funny and smart… plus quite handsome even if I do say so myself
For the most part with daily exercise I am an easy going dude. But if you don’t like long walks daily then I am probably not the right doggie for you and that is OK. I would rather stick around with my foster dad and wait for the perfect home to find me and fall absolutely in LOVE with me… rather than have a failed adoption with a family who was not meant for me

A 3-Step process to adopt one of our foster dogs.
1. Fill the adoption form. It might seem long, but it’s the best way to find the right dog for you and your family!
2. We’ll arrange a meeting with the foster family of the dog you want to meet so you can see if s/he’s the right one for you.
3. If you decide to move forward, you’ll be asked to agree to a home visit, fill-in and sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.
