My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adoption fee on this dog is $350.

We have special Requirements for Adopting a Puppy and a separate Puppy Questionnaire that must be completed on puppies. Please see our Requirements for Adopting a Puppy or EMAIL us at info@gcgsr.org for more information.

Citrona is a 3 month old female. She came into rescue with Arcade and Rose when the owner suspected they got into rat poison. They were immediately treated for 3 weeks and showed no signs of poisoning.

She is working on housebreaking and sleeps in a crate at night and for long naps. She is the typical puppy - lots of work. Just like having a newborn baby, household chores get done while she's napping. Constant supervision is needed or she will chew inappropriately or find a spot to potty.

She is well worth all the work though. She loves to cuddle. She is a friendly, confident girl that enjoys meeting people. She loves to play with whatever toy you give her. She loves to play fetch. She also loves car rides, but she is still learning to love baths. She lives with cats and occassionally barks at them, but she is getting used to them.

A new home, family, and separation from her siblings will be tough, so she needs a home with a friendly male dog to be her adopted brother and to teach her how to be a dog.

This dog is a Level 2. Please be sure you understand what a dog of this Level requires. Go to our GCGSR Dogs page for an explanation of the Dog Rating Levels.
