Buddy speaks with an English or Australian accent. And he loves to say “Good Day”, and he mumbles a few more words like ( Down.. Good Boy) with an accent Buddy also whistles, chuckles, mimic’s a few sounds of the house (Squeaky door, microwave oven etc.). So far, Buddy has said about 10 words in his first week of being with us. We can tell he has the potential to speak a lot more when he is in a lower traffic environment.
Buddy, was part of a large parrot rescue and over 40 other animals were rescued from the same rural location. Unfortunately, the owner of all of these animals past away before leaving anyone, with any records about Buddy, or anyone of his companions
*Delivery is available in most local areas of Washington and Oregon State. An additional transportation fee will be required for those qualified applicants who live more than 25 miles from Portland, Oregon.
Although we don’t know much about Buddy, we can tell that he was well loved, but he was traumatized by the absence of his past owner. He is most likely is suffering from some degree of separation anxiety. So he is a bit skittish. So with this mentioned, we are seeking for a sympathetic, educated parrot home, preferably someone with parrot and or African Grey experience.
Buddy has a great appetite, and loves to watch TV and dance. If you’re interested in adopting Buddy within the next 72 hours, and you have No children in your household under the age of 17.
