RILEY's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Someone told me as I was leaving the slammer that I would live the 'life of Riley'. What is that? I hope it means good stuff because I haven't had any of that in a long, long, time. Can you tell from how skinny I am? I will sort of miss my cell mate, we were good buds. But my foster parents have two dogs, so that is great too! I may even like cats. I saw some and didn't think too much about it. The car ride was pretty cool, I could do that again with no problem! If I say so myself, I am a handsome guy and will make someone a wonderful companion. Are you up to giving me the 'life of Riley'? I hope so!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

RILEY, a Houston Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Houston, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
