I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

KOSMO's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

KOSMO's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

I love to be outside on the porch and just listen to the sounds and watch the birds.  And, did you know that you can catch a ray of sunshine?  If you watch the sunshine real close, little bits fly by!  I try to catch them in my mouth!  It is great fun.  So is that hair dryer thingy!  I sit very still and will let you point the cool air right into my face!

I have also discovered toys.  Here, we have 2 toy baskets JUST for dogs.  I have found it and I get great joy out of taking EVERYTHING (about 40 toys) out of the basket and putting it in my crate.  Then, if someone opens the patio door, I take everything out of my crate and put it outside.  Doesn't that sound like FUN!  I'm working my foster Mom so hard she thinks she has a toddler in the house!

I have a sweet spirit and a great nature.  I am very good in my crate and I'm learning about potty training - two days now with no accidents!  The people here say it is a modern day miracle, whatever THAT is!  I like all of the dogs at my foster home and play with them a lot more now that the pins are out of my elbow and foot.  I still have some staples and stitches but they will be removed soon.

When the doctor removed the pins he told my foster Mom I needed to remain calm and quiet until my bones are well healed.  She asked what drugs were being prescribed for that?  But all I got was antibiotics and she actually rolled her eyes at him!  I have to wear that big cone thingy so I don't lick the stitches or staples, but it doesn't slow me down one bit!  I am so much faster now without a cast or pins!

Not to be conceited or anything, but when I am healed and ready to go (which will be soon), I will be adopted very quickly...  Be sure to get your applications filled out ahead of time!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

KOSMO, a Houston Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Houston, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
