DAX's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

I am unique in that I have dew claws on my hind legs!  Hence the moniker, Dax!  I am cute as a button and destined to bring joy to all those around me!

In a few short weeks (6.14.11) I will be ready for a fur-ever home. My adoption fee covers the cost of neutering when I am old enough to have it done.

If you are currently approved to adopt, a deposit of $150.00 will hold me in your name. Please ask to find out how many people are in line for me.

Will you be the lucky one who gets to spend their life with me? I hope so!

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DAX, a Houston Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Houston, or seeking a Boxer puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
