CHECK OUT MY ANGEL WINGS!

HBR broke me out of jail in a hurry!

I was very good during the car ride and didn't even try to bolt out when the door was opened!  There were other dogs around at the clinic and I was friendly toward everyone.  Like most dogs I am eager to please, I just need to know what you want me to do.

Do you like kisses?  I like to give them!  When excited I might jump up a bit but then, it was a very high energy day with lots of changes and new faces.  Can you see my angel wings in the pictures?  They make me a very special dude!

Stay tuned for more news about me or let HBR know right away that you would like to meet OWEN!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

OWEN, a Houston Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Houston, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
