PICKLE's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

PICKLE's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

PICKLE here and I sure was in one!  I was wandering the streets of Houston and then I was in a shelter.  Those places are not for a girl like me.  I am so happy to be in rescue and in a foster home where I belong.

I am surely as cute as a PICKLE, so that could also be how I got my name.  I am 9 months old and a small girl at 35 pounds.  I am very sweet, love to cuddle, and give kisses.  If you are looking for an emotionally secure relationship then I am what you need.  Take me for a good walk...or even a run and then let me sit at your feet, walk by your side, and I'll be your devoted companion for ever.

And, who doesn't need a little PICKLE on the side?  Apply to adopt me today!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PICKLE, a Houston Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Houston, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
