MONK's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

MONK here and I am a 1+ year old Boxer Boy.  If you made a New Year's resolution to get in shape and get more exercise, I am the guy for you!  Action is my middle name.  My "let's go" lifestyle will keep you motivated to get outside and move.  I've got tons of energy; and just like the sun, I'm burning 24 hours a day and seven days a week.  I'll run for miles, chase a ball, and might still want to play at the end of the day.  Once you wear me out, I'll sit by your side and be your constant buddy.

I am potty trained, working on crate training, and I am getting along with my Foster brothers and sisters.  I am VERY motivated by food, so I am learning all my dog lessons from my foster Mom like sit, stay, shake and all of those good words.  I just do whatever she says for food.  All I need now is a forever home.  If you are ready for Action, I am ready for YOU!  Just complete an application for MONK and Let's Go!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MONK, a Houston Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Houston, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
