SWEET GIRL!

KRISTI here and I'm a 1 year+ Boxer Girl.  I was found running the streets with my other brothers and sisters and now I find myself in rescue.

As you probably know, as a Boxer I am not considered fully mature until 3 years of age, so I am still a bouncy, playful toddler.  We Boxers have one of the longest puppyhoods in the world...some would say that we always have a little bit of puppy in us!!

I am intelligent, alert, and yet very friendly.  I am good with other dogs and have not yet been tested around cats or human kids.

I will move into a foster home soon, so stay tuned for more information about me!!  OR if it is love at first sight, please complete an application for KRISTI!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

KRISTI, a Houston Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Houston, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
