A HUNK OF BURNING BOXER LOVE!!

ROLLO here and I'm an 1 1/2+ year old Boxer boy.  I am a bit rare in that I am mostly Black.  That doesn't happen very often in the Boxer world.

I was found lost in Houston and then came into rescue.  I have a bad leg from a prior injury that my other owners never did get fixed.  I can walk on it just fine, but if you are looking for a Boxer to run with you every day, I'm not that guy.

The folks here at HBR are getting me all of the medical care that I need.  That has really helped as well as getting food in my belly so that I can put some more meat on my bones.  I am going to be VERY handsome when I fill out...check back soon to see more pictures of ME!

I will be moving into foster care soon, so stay tuned for more information on me.

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ROLLO, a Houston Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Houston, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
