HANDSOME HUNK!!!

DEAN here and I'm a 18 month old Boxer Boy...I was in a local shelter and now I'm in rescue and WHEW am I glad!!!   That living on the street stuff is tough on a dog...even a young guy like me!!!

As a young Boxer boy, I will have all of the Boxer traits.  I will have a handsome square jaw and a general hunk with a great sense of humor and undying sweetness.  Until we are 3, many of us Boxers are a bit silly as we love to play and joke around.  Therefore, we are the dog breed that has the longest time in what we think of as puppyhood.

I will need exercise every day.  So, take me for a walk or a run or throw that ball and once I have done my exercise, I'll be ready to sit back and relax and watch you cook dinner, clean the house, or pay the bills.

Stay tuned for more information about me or if it is LOVE at first sight, please complete an application for ME!  I will love you more than you can imagine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DEAN, a Houston Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Houston, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
