My name is Cosmo I was rescue and adopted back in 2014. Sadly my family’s life has gotten way to hectic for them to give me the attention and exercise I need daily to be happy.
I do live with other dogs in the home
I do great on car rides so if you have a road trip planned this summer I would love to come with you!
I only jump up on the sofa when I have been invited
I do live with a very young child in the home and have no issues
I cannot live in a home with cats
I am pretty excited to meet people and need to learn some basic canine manners as I do jump up on people to say HIYA
I do not have an aggressive bone in my body
For a husky I can be pretty calm in the home but I do require mental and physical stimulation daily. I need an active family who has time for me; a family who is familiar with the Husky traits both positive and negative… like if you don’t like fur a dog like me requires grooming because well I do shed.
I can be Husky Talkative but I am not overly vocal
I am loving, gentle, playful, happy-go-lucky and would really like a family of my own to care for. I am super smart and only aim to please if you can keep working with me on my training with positive reinforcement
I get excited on the leash and don’t really like to be crated. I would love a friend to jog with and if you promise not to take me out during a summer heat wave for a run I promise not to drag you outside to play in a winter’s cold snap!
Please remember that while YES I am gorgeous & I absolutely know it!!! My breed was bred to work, to pull sleds so to be truly happy I need someone who has a love and respect for my husky origins, someone who is patient with me, I really need some consistency in my life and someone with a love and understanding of the Arctic dog character
If you have experience of the husky breed of dogs, can continue with my training and be patient with me because I will be very confused about all the changes that will happen in my life moving to a new home, if you are a home body, active and have a fully fenced in back yard I think you should write to CAARescue@gmail.com Right NOW and ask them for an application for adoption so that we can meet and maybe we can be best friends forever!

A 3-Step process to adopt one of our foster dogs.
1. Fill the adoption form. It might seem long, but it’s the best way to find the right dog for you and your family!
2. We’ll arrange a meeting with the foster family of the dog you want to meet so you can see if s/he’s the right one for you.
3. If you decide to move forward, you’ll be asked to agree to a home visit, fill-in and sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.
