Joey didn't get the best start in life, so please excuse him when he starts ravenously kissing your face, he's just trying to make up for the lost time of not being able to love on his humans! He's still quite the gentleman though, in fact he was literally born with white gloves on each of his paws. Joey is a 1 year old Yellow Lab/Golden Retriever mix. He's about 45lbs, but will be gaining weight as he's a bit skinny right now. Joey is very energetic, his foster mommy likes to compare him to Tigger the Tiger because he loves to bounce and trounce and flounce and pounce! Joey recently had surgery on his hip, nothing major, the vet just wanted to ensure Joey lives pain free when he gets older and he is on track to make a full recovery. He loves all dogs and people (including kids), and ignores cats. Joey knows "sit", is crate trained, and seems to be mostly housebroken. The accidents he's had have been the result of him not being able to alert the humans that he needs to go out properly due to his post-surgical leg, nothing a little time and patience can't fix! Joey is neutered and up to date on shots.
