Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet King. He is a 1 yr old (as of 4-27-17) Shi Tzu and Carin Terrier (similar to Toto in the Wizard of Oz) mix. He is a really sweet dog who needs someone to be his lifelong friend. He had a rough start to life and because of this, he tends to become nervous around strangers. He has made great strides since we have had him but does still try to bite when he gets scared. For this reason, he would need a home where people are not constantly grabbing at him and will give him some space. He loves to lay with you on the couch and loves to snuggle with our 13 yr old. He loves to go for walks and play in the yard. He gets along well with other dogs however would probably do better as the only dog or with a more dominant second dog. He gets along with cats and travels well in a car. He is almost completely housebroken 90-95%. He has been neutered and is up to date on all his shots.
**An application and home visit are required. Transport can potentially be arranged to approved homes. Please ask us for more information if you are not in Tennessee**
**All of our pets are or will be spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccines and micro-chipped prior to adoption. Please complete the application on our website and we will call you to answer any questions you may have.**
Our adoption fees not only help the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heart-worm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals, that would otherwise be euthanized, need to be made available for adoption.
