My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone!

My name is Benita and I am depending on you wonderful humans to help me find a forever home. See, I had a home and my humans had to move. When they moved, I packed my stuff and was ready to get in the car. When I looked out, they were gone! I knew they would never leave me so I thought they would come back when they discovered they forgot to put me in the car. I waited and watched, but they never came back. I was so sad. I thought they cared about me, but I guess they didn't.

But, I was very blessed. A neighbor saw what had happened and took care of me until she got in touch with RARE and asked them to help me find a forever home. A REAL FOREVER HOME with humans who will love me forever and ever. RARE said they would help me and here I am.

I am a Domestic Shorthair Calico kitty and about 2.5 years old as of April 27, 2017. I am very friendly and adore humans. I heard someone say that I am more like a dog than a cat. I want to be with my humans and love being held.

I promise I will be a good kitty and give you all the love in my furry heart. I just want a family who will never abandon me and will return my love the rest of my life. If you think you could love me forever and ever, please contact RARE today.

All of our pets are or will be spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccines prior to adoption. Please complete the application on our website and we will call you to answer any questions you may have.

Our adoption fees not only help the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heartworm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals, that would otherwise be euthanized, need to be made available for adoption.

Thank you for choosing to adopt, foster, or aid in the rescue efforts of RARE!
