Hi, world!! My name is Marlo, but I'm sure you already knew that. Oh, not because I have an ego, or anything! No, it's just I never meet a stranger. So, I'm sure we're already best friends!!
Oh, um, Foster Mommy just reminded me that really, really, non-egotistical people (and fur-people) don't assume things because... well, you know. OH, shoot, I did it again! Ok, ok, on to the polite introductions!
I am a 5 year old, female, Pittie / Hound / possible Shar-Pei mix. Foster Mom says I have THE cutest, copper-colored face, with GORGEOUS (her words, not mine!) yellow/green eyes. I love all people! Men, women, children, and bigger dogs - it makes me more comfortable, and more able to put my best paw forward, when I meet people closer to my size. Come to think of it, the same can be said for kids! I love them, but older is probably best.
I'm leash trained (although, I do pull a little, sometimes) AND crate trained! Foster Mom and I are still working on house training, but I bet I will ace that test soon enough! And I really like to roll around on my back. It's just my way of celebrating this awesome new life I've been gifted!
Foster Mom says she and the Angels will keep you all updated as I continue to grow and bond with my foster family. Won't you check back? Better yet, won't you put in applications for me? I PROMISE I'd be an excellent family member. Remember, we're already best friends!
