My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jax is a 6 month shepherd mix. He weighs about 45 pounds but will grow.

Jax is just the sweetest boy. His coat is very soft and thick but he does not shed a lot. All he wants right now is to be loved by his person. He is very playful and energetic.

He would do great with a person that likes to spend time outdoors. A jogger, runner, for hiker. He LOVES water and can't wait to take a swim.

If you are interested in giving Jax wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

Jax's adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover the neutering, puppy shots, bordetella (kennel cough),rabies, heart worm test, heart worm prevention, flea/tick prevention, vet examinations. Jax has had a recent heart worm test and is heart worm negative.

Jax is living with a foster family in Tennessee and will travel to his new family once he has been adopted. We use a transport service that makes weekly trips to the northeast and twice monthly trips to Chicago.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
