Miami's Story...
Miami is a one-of-a-kind dog, and she's waiting eagerly to meet you! This gorgeous girl has more than just good looks, she's also smart (she knows how to sit, shake, and lie down) and is a very sweet and friendly girl. Miami has lots of energy, and so she'd love an active family with older children or an adult only home. She is looking for someone with enough time to devote to her training (she'd love to accompany you to a doggie obedience class- mostly to show off her tricks!), and also needs someone with a secure yard to help keep her safe. To meet and adopt Miami, please visit the Central County Animal Shelter on Gaines Street.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miami, a San Diego Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
