Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever Mix, Cream/White color, 2-year-old, Spayed Female, 50 lbs.
Tessie is an awesome family dog! She loves playing, and is good with all people (big and small). She knows some basic commands, and is housetrained. Tessie loves to run, but also just wants to be a couch companion. All she really wants is to be loved on by her people. She can be a little bit pushy (probably the Pyrenees coming out in her), so a firm, experienced owner is needed, or she will likely decide she's the queen bee and take over the house! Tessie MUST be the only pet in a home, and is very dog-reactive when on walks, so a quiet community without many other dogs around is ideal. We are also requiring a physical, secure 6' fenced area for Tessie at her new home (no radio collars or free-roaming). She would love to live in an area where no other pets are close. If you're looking for your one-and-only soul-mate, Tessie would love to be your best friend!
Tessie is spayed, heartworm negative, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and up-to-date on monthly preventatives. We estimate her DOB to be around 10/01/2014. She is in foster care in East Tennessee. Her adoption fee has been reduced to only $200, which includes all vetting and transport. Vet references, personal references, and home visits may be required prior to adoption.
