My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Hagrid! I’m a handsome tuxedo catolescent with white socks and the cutest little black jellybean toes. I came to Happy Cats with my sister Hermione after we were found trying to survive on the street as kittens.

I may not always be the first one out to meet new people, but if you introduce yourself, I’ll be bouncing around in no time. Like any catolescent, playtime is my favorite time of the day. The Cat Catcher is what really gets me going, jumping and twirling if you sail it in the air! I really like the red dot too and love to finish up my playtime with a little snack. Once I’ve had some playtime, I’ll even share it with Hermione, who loves the mouse toy just as much as I do.

I’ve had a little clicker training and will come to my name and sit on cue. I’m such a smart little guy, I’m even learning how to do a Sit Pretty! I’m not much for laps, but will probably be your best couch buddy once I get into my new home. Because of my background on the street, I will probably always tend to hide when I have to deal with a new noise or person or animal, but it doesn’t take me long to come out once I know I’m safe.

As you can see, I do fine with other cats, but I need to be a cat older than myself or extremely confident, because I tend to try and rule and the roost. I don’t yet know how I’ll be with dogs, but with a slow introduction to a dog who is respectful and knows not to chase me, I should be fine.

I’m about 6 months old so I can be adopted for $80, which will include my virus testing, vaccinations, neuter, microchip, food & litter starter kit, a month of free insurance and a free vet visit voucher. Please drop by…I would love to meet you!
