My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

~adoption fee applies, if serious about adoption please email caarescue@gmail.com~
My name is Reese and I was rescued by CAA volunteers when I was kicked out of my last home … like literally minutes before they simply were going to open the door and shove me out onto the streets.
But you know what? I am kinda happy they did give me up because I have a much better life now in foster care with my foster dad.
I live with other large breeds in the home and get along with everyone just fine. Even though I am annoy puppy all day and all night; everyone is being very tolerate of me.
I am your typical over the top, high energy, know nothing, do everything all at once, nonstop puppy!
I am way too excited and playful to be around cats. I have never been tested around young children.
I am pretty excited to meet new people and need to learn some basic canine manners as I do jump up on people to say HIYA.
I do require mental and physical stimulation daily. I need an active family who has time for me; a family who is familiar with the Chocolate lab and Collie breeds both positive and negative… like if you don’t want a 2 year old hyper child in the home for the next 5 years maybe I am not the best match for you?

I am not house trained and need more training on the leash and basic commands so that I can grow into a positive canine citizen.

When I arrived in foster care I was dehydrated and very skinny. Immediately my foster family noted that I was starting to guard my food … could be explained by my poor health so my new guardians will have to pay attention to that and work with me.
I am loving, gentle, playful, happy-go-lucky and would really like a family of my own to care for. I am super smart and only aim to please if you can keep working with me on my training with positive reinforcement. I am very fond of the humans around me.

& while yes I am absolutely gorgeous and I know it; I really need someone who will commit to me for life. I am growing fast and won’t be a puppy for much longer – so I need you to look past my amazing brown eyes and see the best friend you will have in your life through good times and bad for potentially the next 12+ years
If you have experience with puppies, can continue with my training and be patient with me because I will be very confused about all the changes that will happen in my life moving to a new home, if you are a home body, active and have a fully fenced in back yard I think you should write to CAARescue@gmail.com Right NOW and ask them for an application for adoption so that we can meet and maybe we can be best friends forever!

If you would like to meet Reese at her foster home in Lachute please write to CAARescue@gmail.com we will ask you to complete an adoption application so that we can learn a little more about you and if you are a perfect fit for Reese we will make arrangements for you to meet her for potential adoption

A 3-Step process to adopt one of our foster dogs.

2. We’ll arrange a meeting with the foster family of the dog you want to meet so you can see if s/he’s the right one for you.
