Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"Mandy" is a darling adult female Red Heeler/Hound mix who came to the HSOV on April 28, 2017 after a Good Samaritan found her in the Belpre Ohio area and brought her to our shelter in hopes that we could locate her family. "Mandy" was wearing a collar but, unfortunately, there was neither an id tag nor a dog tag on her collar.
"Mandy" has an red/auburn short smooth with red-and-white ticking on her chest, a long tail, and a beautiful face with long red velvet ears. This little lady has a super sweet personality :) She walks well on a leash and posed like a showdog for her glamour photos.
"Mandy" weighs 51 lbs.
In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, she will be held for three days so that her owner has the opportunity to reclaim her. "Mandy" will be available for adoption on May 1, 2017 if that happy reunion does not take place.
Update: "Mandy" was infested with ticks when she entered our shelter and has been diagnosed with lyme disease so we are temporarily listing her as a 'Special Needs Dog'.
