My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOC is a 10-month-old neutered male black lab. DOC weighs 40 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 8 and up.

DESCRIPTION Doc is a fun, lovable, goofy, energetic young labby! He hasn't met a stranger and just loves all of my dogs and my young son. He certainly enjoys his food and does good in his crate after a few barks to express his displeasure that he can't be with his people and needs to go to sleep. He hasn't had any accidents in the house and loves giving kisses but does need some work on a leash and commands, so he will have a training addendum. Doc is a good rider and we are working on his leash skills. He is great with dogs

Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Setting: Rural, Suburban
Dwelling: Single family
Fence: No requirement as of yet, but a physical fence would be ideal until he is better on leash.

Update: Doc is doing wonderfully in his foster home! He enjoys playing with his foster siblings, especially his girlfriend Pari. He is great with the foster's young son. Doc is good in his crate and has had no accidents in the house. He loves to romp and play and is so friendly and affectionate! See him play with Pari and Connor in the video. Doc is a fun boy but does have a lot of energy to burn He is great with dogs and would love another playful dog to run and play with to burn that energy. He would love and active owner, maybe a runner, that would get him the exercise he needs so that he can be a good boy :-) He romps and plays in the yard with his foster's dogs and her young son to his heart's content and then settles nicely when he comes in. He is good in his crate and very affectionate. Doc is on the smaller side so easy to handle, but will need exercise and to continue his training. Doc is approve for 10 and up but could go with kids 8 and up if dog savvy. He is currently in foster with a VERY dog savvy 7 year old and they are great friends!
