Ollie's Story...
Ollie is one swell pooch. This blonde pittie also happens to be one of the most handsome boys we've come across, and he never fails to get the attention of passersby in the nearby park. It is always a pleasure to walk Ollie, for he is uniformly friendly and happy. He is also quite social with people and gets along well with other dogs, which makes it especially easy to be with him. When you walk through the kennels, Ollie is so laid back, he just sits on his bed, looking up at you with a smile, not barking and clamoring for your attention (although, he'd really like to get it!). This looker would be a great first dog for some lucky person. Because he is on the sensitive side, this boy is not taking the stress of the noise and constant confinement to the kennels well. Please come in and meet Ollie to experience what a gentle, special boy he is for yourself, and consider offering him the forever home that he deserves and NEEDS, particularly right now.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ollie, a Berkeley Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
