Meet Miss Maybelline! Maybelline came to us originally as a stray and has taken a little while to completely warm up to the staff here at the shelter. She might take a little longer to adjust to a new home and new environment, but once she does she is a very nice girl. Maybelline loves to show her affection by rubbing up against you and giving lots of head butts. She can be a bit of a diva and would love to be treated like the Princess she thinks she is. She would do best in a home with adults or older children only as she has been known to swat at people occasionally when she is being bothered. Maybelline is a bit on the chunky side and would benefit from a portion controlled, low calorie diet to help her shed a few pounds and get down to a healthy weight. She is nervous at first around other cats but she can probably live with a mellow male. She is shy but can live with the most cat-savvy of dogs that will be respectful of her.
