Bullet's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Bullet's Story...

I am an amazingly warm hearted guy who loves affection.   FTCS gave me the nickname “Bullet” because I survived being shot by a .22-cal rifle, which is why my ear looks a little funny.  My three siblings were targeted and killed. I know I must be a blessed cat, because although he bullet also grazed my side it didn’t hurt any organs.  So I am a healthy, happy, and mellow yellow cat with a floppy ear and two bald spots!  I love humans, and am willing to give them a second chance.  I particularly like to have my head rubbed and would prefer a barn home since my indoor toilet manners have not been purr-fected but I am a great hunter and will keep your barn rodent free.

We do not have a fixed adoption fee at For The Cats' Sake, but instead ask for a tax-deductible donation to our group. On average, we spend at least $125 to cover spay/neutering, testing for FeLV and FIV, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming and any vet care/medicine that is needed. We ask that you cover as much of the $125 as you can afford, and set a minimum donation at $50.

Our goal is to find the best home for each animal, and we feel this policy makes it possible for more people to adopt one or more cats. It is important to us that every adopter can afford to care for their pets properly and give them a home for life.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bullet, a Flint HIll Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Flint HIll, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Flint HIll.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flint HIll already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flint HIll breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flint HIll paves the way for another one to be saved.
