Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lenny is a super sweet boy, loves people, cats, and other dogs too. He has the Vizsla characteristics as far as wanting to be near you a lot of the time, great family dog, low shedding, stays clean, and listens well. He is good with the cats in his foster home, but smaller pets are not recommended as a breed standard. Lenny has completed training at Woof Beach in Batavia Ill., and can go back with his new owners for refresher classes as needed. He knows heel, sit, down, stay, and come. Lenny can and will jump a 6ft. fence, so leash walking, a tie out for potty breaks, or an underground fence would be required. Lenny is a quick learner, and a dog that will bond with his family. As a 1 1/2 year old he was adopted and returned as he didn't like being alone. Lenny then jumped the 4ft. fence in his next home and came back to H.E.L.P. thin as he had been running loose. I am so grateful for microchips and animal Control's that read them! Lenny is a wonderful boy and deserves a loving family that is active and devoted to him. Lenny is now 5 years of age, DOB: 1-6-12, and weighs 53#'s which is a perfect weight for him. He has awesome indoor manners, will bark if someone is outside or at the door, is housetrained, loves a lap to be on, and to sleep in his foster Mom's room at night. He is a real Lover Boy!
