Meet this pretty little girl, Missy. We think Missy is a retriever mix of some sort. Missy is a sweet natured girl with a submissive/soft personality. She lives with seven other dogs at her fosters’ home and gets along with everyone (adult and senior dogs, male and female, ranging from 11-45 pounds). She will initiate play and accept other dogs’ invitation to play with equal pleasure. Missy must go to a home with other dogs. She is a bit shy at first and looks to the others to make sure their humans are safe. She takes social cues very well.
Missy came out of the shelter terrified and shut down. We are happy to say that she is doing great, thanks, in part, to her playmates. She loves playing, but is not high energy or demanding. Missy is just as happy cuddling with her fosters as she is playing with her four-legged friends. She was in a kill shelter in GA. Her sweet, soft ways spoke to us and she’s now safe in her foster home in NJ. Anyone wanting to adopt Missy should be willing to travel to NJ.
Missy is young (we believe to be around 1 year), healthy, spayed/vaccinated, weighs around 30 pounds, and is ready to love and be loved by a very lucky forever family. If you are interested in Missy, you had better get your applications in NOW. This special girl will be in demand as soon as she is posted, and she deserves the best home we can find for her. Any applicant that meets all criteria and is approved must be willing to pick Missy up in NJ.
