I’M A GORGEOUS LAP KITTY”
Hello future loyal subject(s), I am Tortilla the Great, queen of all I see. Should you pass my tests, I'll reward you with my undivided attention and a pretty cute purr that sounds like a pigeon's coo. Oh, and I'm fun too, but let's talk more about me, shall we?
My interests include napping on my loyal subjects' laps, being brushed, scratches behind the ears, chewing on catnip toys, and exploring closets, drawers, cabinets ... pretty much anything that opens -- and don't worry, I can open them myself. I am an avid collector of pens. For exercise I like to chase a catnip mouse -- ok, honestly, I just like to slide across the floor after the mouse. My drink of choice is water left in the shower. I can be bribed with Friskies Party Mix. Things that will get you sent to the dungeon include: touching my paws or tummy, and bringing other cats, dogs, or young children into my domain.
Before I act like the wonderful cat that I am though, I might spend a month or so as kind of a brat, in which I'll swat at you when you get in my way (remember: queen before loyal subjects). Consider it your evaluation period. When I deign to use your lap as my throne and give you the official head-butt of acceptance, you'll know you've passed the assessment period. I know ... it will be your best day ever. You're welcome.
So, stop by OAR to revel in my beauty, and please give me consideration as head of your household and ONLY royal family.
