Pit Bull Terrier Mix Dog for adoption in Somerset, Pennsylvania - Leo

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Leo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Leo's Story...
Leo is a six year old Pit Bull rescued by the Humane Officer from a horrible situation. He was locked in a room twenty three hours a day without food or water. Because he has been severely mistreated by a man, Leo prefers women....can you blame him? Despite the deplorable treatment this dog has received, he is still friendly with other animals, as well as adults and children. He is reported to be house trained. We can not wait for Leo to find a family that will shower him with TLC so he can experience the kindness and love this sweet boy deserves.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leo, a Somerset Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Somerset, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Somerset.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Somerset already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Somerset breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Somerset paves the way for another one to be saved.
