My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Princess Tara has seen better days. She must have been a stray for some time, as she came covered in mats and irritated skin. She is as sweet as can be, despite her woes. She must know that she is safe here, with warm shelter and food. She does have grumpy moments, and doesn't appear friendly from her cage, but I assure you, she is a lap cat in disguise! She had a bath yesterday to soothe her irritated skin, and while she didn't enjoy the bath at all, she did love sitting in a lap to be dried. Tara would be a perfect candidate for an older couple or a more settled down family with a quiet home. She appears to be a senior herself, but age is hard to pinpoint. She is up to date on her vaccines, and is spayed. She tested negative for FIV/FeLV, as well, which is always great news. Her fee will be $95. If you would be interested in making this sweetheart a part of your family, please call the shelter at 757-365-6318 or email us at animalservices@isleofwightus.net.
