Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hershey is a 9-year-old neutered male chocolate lab. Hershey weighs 84 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.
Hershey will do best in a home with fewer stairs.
Update: Apr 19, 2017: Hershey has been such a joy to foster. He rode nicely in the car and sat quietly looking out the window. As soon as he walked into the house, he found the nearest dog bed and decided it was nap time. He enjoys going for walks and loves to be outside. He walks nicely on the leash although he does pull some when he sees another dog that he wants to play with. Hershey gets along well with the resident dog and doesn't mind sharing the dog beds or toys. Hershey is create trained and house trained! He hasn't tried to get on any furniture yet and has been perfectly happy sleeping on the dog beds. Hershey is such an awesome dog and would make a wonderful addition to a family.
Hershey #2 is a handsome and affectionate guy that will make some family very happy!
Hershey is house and crate trained. He enjoys hanging out in his crate. He knows basic commands. He loves to swim. He walks well on leash but can pull to say hello to other dogs. He does ok with stairs but will do best in a home with fewer stairs. He is good with other dogs and previously lived with a small dog. He has no cat history so cats are unknown. No kid history so he is approved for kids 10 and up.
His evaluator said: "Hershey is a total love bug. His tail never stopped wagging during the entire visit. He was well loved and taken care of. He loves attention. He is a happy guy and will make a great addition to some lucky family."
Hershey #2 is current on vaccinations and will need a Lepto booster between 5/4-5/11. He weighs 84 pounds and needs to lose 8-10 pounds
