Lady Tux's Story...
Meet Lady Tux! Lady Tux is a petite, you guessed it, tuxedo girl! She loves attention, loves to be pet, and loves when you talk sweet to her. Her paws never stop moving as she kneads everything in her path including the air! Lady Tux is very sweet and entertaining. She likes to be near people and has no problem getting close...very close. Come in to see if you need her as much as she kneads you!

Lady Tux is almost two-years old and is fine with other cats. We are not yet sure how she is with dogs or kids. Lady Tux is available and able to have applications submitted once you've met. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lady Tux, a Wilmington Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Wilmington, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Wilmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
