Facts about Kitty

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Gray Or Blue
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 35230127
  • Hair: Unknown
Kitty: solid gray, short hair, male, born approx. 3/8/08, #12749
Sookie: Chocolate Pt. Siamese mix, short hair, female, born approx. 3/8/11, #12750

Kitty and Sookie lost their lifetime home when their family had to move to a place that would not allow pets. They were understandably traumatized by the loss of everything and everyone familiar, and needed time and patience in foster care to figure out their new life. After some time, they became more comfortable, and their wonderful personalities started to shine once more!

Kitty and Sookie both come running when a family member is around—won’t you give them attention? They enjoy pets, especially scritches behind the ears and under the chin, and brushing time is wonderful.
Kitty particularly likes to play with trackballs and observe Sookie jumping for the wand toys. Sometimes he’ll pick out a favorite comfy spot near you to hang out, though other times he’ll want to burrow and snuggle as deeply and closely as he can possibly get.
Sookie likes to leap for wand toys and chase laser lights. At times she likes to be your shadow and will follow you all around hoping for pets or kisses and a head-butt. Sookie purrs and wants to snuggle on you when you sit or lie down.
Kitty and Sookie MUST be adopted together.

Kitty and Sookie grew up in a family with kids and seem to be comfortable with people of all ages. They have been able to get along with other young and mature cats. While they have tolerated their foster’s medium sized dog, they’d really be happiest without a canine in the house.

Sookie and Kitty had their world turned upside down, and it took an emotional toll. However, their kind dispositions and eagerness for attention show how resilient and hopeful these cats are to build lifetime bonds with their new people... will you give them a home that will last?
