Bear's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Bear's Story...
Bear is a sweet old man wwho has been left homeless due to the death of his owner. Bear is a super nice dog who just wants a quiet place to live out the rest of his life. Bear does have arthritis and requires daily medication. He will also need owners willing to make things a little easier for him dealing with stairs etc. He is fine with cats. He DOES get along great with the dogs that were his housemates and could possibly live ok with other dogs with slow introductions but would prefer not to. Bear is a BIG boy. A VERY large GSD over 130 lb's. But he is a laid back and easy keeper in spite of needing a fair share of floor space.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bear, a Tacoma German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Tacoma, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Tacoma.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tacoma already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tacoma breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tacoma paves the way for another one to be saved.
