Bo's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Bo's Story...

Bo is a loving, fun, healthy, intelligent Newfie-mix puppy. He is 6 1/2 months old and currently weighs 51 pounds. He is neutered and chipped and current on all shots. His shiny, soft, beautiful hair does not shed at all! What a great thing. He has graduated from his 8 week long puppy training course and is very socialized, house trained and crate trained. He is great with all children and loves being around all people. He can be a bit skittish around other big dogs. He is currently living with a cat and another small dog and he gets along great with both of them. He is very sensitive and needs a calm, yet firm owner. He does need to play a lot and go for walks to release his puppy energy. He is in his chewing phase of puppyhood, but he is easily distracted with substitutions.
Bo is waiting for a family to love him. He gives great kisses and is a true cuddle bug.  He is also a true survivor having made it through parvo and pneumonia back in November

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bo, a Tacoma Newfoundland/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Newfoundland/Border Collie for sale in Tacoma, or seeking a Newfoundland/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Tacoma.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tacoma already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tacoma breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Newfoundland/Border Collie breeders who help with Newfoundland/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tacoma paves the way for another one to be saved.
