Millie's Story...
Millie is a georgeous and smart girl who is looking for an active family. Millie was adopted last summer but came back to us recently. Millies adopter thought she should be content to hang out in their back yard by herself. We are not talking about for a little whhile..we mean permanently. After months of seclusion and boredom, Millie decided she had had enough and found a way out. Millie is a super good dog. She is good in a crate, good with other dogs, great with humans of all ages. She is not a barker or a problem dog in any way. SHe is housebroken and good natured. She just needs to not just be tossed into the back yard and forgotten. She is not an escape artist. She is a dog who was left too long to her own devices.  Her adoption fee is $75.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Millie, a Tacoma American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Tacoma, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Tacoma.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tacoma already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tacoma breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tacoma paves the way for another one to be saved.
